AW19 TRAVELLER: a RESEARCH of ESSENCE
With the technology of 3D printing surface and knitwear manipulation, ZHU designed a futuristic collection for an imaginary community of a space-inhabiting species---TRAVELLERS.
THEY travel here and there.THEY travel in the sea and space. THEY travel every dimension of the cosmos. An infinite journey that would never come to an end is travelers in. Seldom they meet any other existence, never they speak to each other. Nowhere THEY are going, everywhere they are going. They wear protection to stay safe, however, they never care about extinction.
Some of them look very alike us human, while many didn’t appear as a god’s figure. Too much diversity their silhouettes are, surprisingly simple their mental world is. Travelers can’t bare staying, the journey is their life.
